I have a friend that works for alpha sights and it sounds like a good gig if they select you. The consulting you are doing is short, like a couple hours worth tops normally. My question is are they actually legit? Just remember with consulting that you need charge much more an hour then you normally would in a salaried position. They definitely have a bit of room to negotiate if you want a higher payment than what they are offering, they are charging their clients 200-300+ per hour.
